Week 9
Readings
For each week of the course, there are readings on which you will be quizzed. The quizzes, which also cover the class material for the week, are scheduled for Thursdays and require short answers. All the readings are available on the Web. Do NOT wait until the night before the quiz to try to access the reading; give yourself some time in case the system isn’t working well. You are expected to read the reading carefully and to mark three ideas that you think are most significant. It’s suggested that you have read the reading once for the class before the quiz day so if you have any questions about the reading you can get them clarified.
