Google Books - Introduction

Google Books provide access to over one million books in digital format. Most books in the Google database are not in full text, but provide you with either limited preview or snippet view, which you can use to obtain an overview of a book's contents.

Full-text of many books is also available, though these tend to be limited to those in the public domain, such as older material published prior to 1929, and government documents.

Google books also tells you where to find books in a library, through its "Find in a Library" feature.
