Finding Books  

The Catalog allows you to find books by keyword, author, or title. Use Advanced Search to limit by format, publication date, or audience.

Most books in SJ Libraries collection are in print, and are organized by call number. Call numbers are arranged 1) Alphabetically by the first line 2) numerically by the whole number on the second line, and 3) numerically by the decimal on the third line. For example,

Please note: Part of the Queens Campus library collection is in closed stacks. If the catalog indicates that a book is available but you cannot find it on the shelf, go to the third floor service desk and request the item.
